Small Business Success for Five Senses

In 2017, Paola Hinton, our owner of Five Senses Salon & Spa decided to give back to her employees in a big way. With the savings under the Republican tax reform that legislation passed over the winter, Paola took $10,000 in the savings and gave each of her staff $500 in cash during an employee meeting.

Employees got another pleasant surprise last month when congressman Darin LaHood stopped by Five Senses to talk about the $10,000 bonus that we received. “That’s exactly what we wanted to do with the tax bill — the downstream effect, putting more money in the pockets of everyday Americans,” he said speaking to the employees in their break room.

At Five Senses Salon & Spa, we work as a team. Each of our staff may have done something different with their bonus, but it wouldn’t have been possible with the hard work of our whole staff to make Five Senses the success it is. After all, small businesses are what makes our community thrive.

Besides our wonderful staff, we couldn’t be where we are without the support and business of our clients. Our clients are the backbone of our business and without their referrals, we wouldn’t be growing our clientele as consistently as we are.

We are growing our services in 2018 and look forward to sharing our experience and products with our clients. Give us a call at (309) 693-7719 to book.
