Specialty Massages

Five Senses offers specialty massages, allowing us to focus on specific needs your body may have. Please note that specialty massages require a physician’s note indicating that such massages can be performed.

Maternity Series – Maternity Massage services are designed for this special time in a woman’s life. Prenatal massages are allowed after your first trimester and a doctor’s note. physician’s note indicating that prenatal massages can be performed.

• $89   Prenatal Massage (1 hr) – Prenatal massages focus on relieving stress on joints, eases neck, shoulder, back and leg pain. This massage improves circulation, lymphatic drainage and soothes tired muscles. Massage oils and creams with vitamin E included may help with possible stretching of the skin around the belly.

• Coming Soon    Butter Crème Maternity Massage (1 hr) – tailored to alleviate some of the discomforts of pregnancy, this massage features rich and firming butter crème and a cooling gel to reduce water retention in feet and ankles that expectant mothers may experience.

• $89   Postpartum Massage (1 hr) – assisting in restoring your body to its pre-pregnancy condition, this massage gives attention to various pressure points throughout the body and the over-stretched areas of skin over the belly.

Breast Surgery Massages – Five Senses is determined to help you fight against breast cancer. Research indicates that therapeutic massage assists the medical care for women undergoing a lumpectomy, mastectomy or breast reconstruction.

• $89   Pre-Surgery Breast Massage (1 hr) – relaxes muscle tissue and increases the flow of lymph.

• $89   Post-Operative Breast Massage (1 hr) – helps relieve post-operative pain and edema, and promote the removal of toxins as it assists in the flow of lymph, blood and oxygen. Lymph drainage techniques are used to help alleviate pain and swelling associated with the build up of lymphatic fluid.
